Item Description

Shona artist unknown. Carved stone. Zimbabwe 20th Century. Red Kwekwe Serpentine Elephant. African art. Abstract sculpture. Large, heavy, weighs 5 pounds 11.6 ounces. Measures about 11-1/2 inches tall and 6-7 inches wide. There are a few small scratches to the surface. I was not able to find a lot of information on it. One like it went to auction in Australia in July of 2024.
