RARE EARLY 1929 BROWNING BELGIUM AUTO-5 – 12 GAUGE – 28" BARREL – SERIAL #144458 – VERY GOOD CONDITION Offered is a vintage Belgian-made Browning Auto-5 (A-5) 12 gauge semi-automatic shotgun, believed to date to approximately 1929. This early Auto-5 features a 28-inch barrel, checkered walnut stock, and serial number 144458. A classic early Browning design, the Auto-5 is historically significant as one of the best-known recoil-operated semi-automatic shotguns ever produced. This Belgian-made example represents an early production gun and would make an interesting addition to a Browning or sporting-arms collection.
